JL.SUNTER MAS BARAT 1 BLOK H.9 NO.4 JAKARTA UTARA
In 1974, a young Bob Taylor cut his teeth building custom acoustics out of San Diego's American Dream guitar factory. The American Dream series pays tribute to this time in Taylor's history with its working-class, American-made pro instruments, built with the same values and American spirit that have driven the Taylor name for the past 45-plus years. Just as the Grand Pacific body shape introduced a new type of tone to the Taylor line, the Flametop AD27e brings a new sonic flavor with an earthy, split character. This dreadnought style guitar features a solid Big Leaf maple back, sides, and top, with Taylor V-Class bracing under the hood.
Combined with nickel bronze strings from D'Addario, the maple construction produces an alluring, rustic sound that's a complete departure from Taylor's signature pure, lively quality. Visually, the AD27e Flametop offers a workhorse-related feel that closely matches its American Dream Series siblings, with a beautiful maple figure complemented by a dusky Woodsmoke finish and a satin sheen. Available with ES2 electronics and shipped in a lightweight and very sturdy AeroCase.
Grand Pacific dreadnought design
The AD27e's slope-shoulder Grand Pacific design is inspired by the Laurel Canyon acoustic scene that master designer Andy Powers grew up with in the Southern Californian '60s and '70s. Its smooth top end and full, balanced bass go naturally with the human voice. The enlarged lower bout supplies a good platform for recording and acoustic gigging of any kind. It's the evolution of the traditional dreadnought sound. And paired with Taylor's V-Class Bracing, the Grand Pacific is better than ever.
