British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The Tanglewood TRSF CE BW is an electroacoustic guitar of the "Super Folk" type, i.e. an instrument with a narrower and shallower body than, for example, the Dreadnought. The front of the guitar is made of laminated Australian Red Cedar, the back and sides of laminated Black Walnut. The mahogany neck is glued to an Eboncore composite fingerboard with twenty frets. Position markers made of ABS material facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
The strings are held in tuning Die-Cast mechanisms and a composite headstock via the zero and saddle frets made of ABS plastic material. The fine workmanship is accentuated by the double-sided maple body binding, the Herringbone-patterned rosette and top bout, and the walnut veneer headstock emblazoned with the company logo.
The sound system features an active company preamp with four-band EQ and integrated tuner. The guitar comes in a box with a pickguard.
