The Tanglewood Discovery DBT DCE features premium tone woods to offer a rich, smooth tone and attractive natural finish. With an Ovangkol back and sides the DBT DCE produces a deep, defined low response with a punchy and powerful high response. Ovangkol originates from West Africa and has a unique appearance with a smooth golden grain. Matched with a Spuce top wood which offers a bright and dynamic response the DBT DCE produces a high quality tone.

Tanglewood TEQ3BT Electronics

Including a TEQ3BT preamp and electronic system the Discovery DBT-DCE can be connected to amps and PA systems perfect for live performance. The TEQ3BT electronics incorporates a responsive and dynamic pickup and 3-band equalizer to fine tune and tweak the tone. Additionally the TEQ3BT also has a built in tuner for tuning adjustments on the fly.
