Sonor introduce another versatile AQ2 configuration and it just happens to be called the Martini Set. Sonor offer five standard configurations and as we discover more about each AQ2 configuration we only fall more in love with this Sonor series. All AQ2 drums feature the all purpose 7-ply maple shell construction which is constructed using a blend of 4-ply Canadian maple and 3-ply Chinese maple. The inventive blend makes for a versatile sound which is brimming with rich and warm tones. The Sonor AQ2 Martini Set is a really compact shell pack and offers you lots of flexibility in where and when you play your kit.

Features wise, the AQ2 Series has this unique effect of making you sound like a pro every time, the unique shell construction is just the start. Newly designed shell hardware and new SmartMount Technology allows for a minimalistic yet functional feel. German design and engineering makes for optimal sound sustain with a minimal amount of hardware on the drum shell. SmartMount Technology is a welcome addition to this series as it avoids unnecessary drilling holes and metal to shell contact, allowing for better sustain and better visibility on the shell surface.
