The XMV4140 is also equipped with automatic protection functions, creating an operational environment that’s unphased by unfavorable conditions. The XMV4140’s intelligent engineering actively protects the unit from overheating, overcurrent, low-load impedance, and other ordinarily damaging situations for an in-field dependability like no other power amp. Detecting and preventing roadblocks in your system carries over to the XMV4140’s dual redundant functions: Backup mode and Override mode. In Backup mode, this power amp will automatically switch to analog inputs when incoming digital input interruptions are detected, with the brains to return to the digital input once the original source is recovered. The other side of the coin is Override mode, which switches input sources within a channel — free of interruptions — when a voice input from any analog input is detected. Either way, the XMV4140 will always have your back.
