The Line6 HX Stomp XL multi-effects processor will serve you well as a "Super Stompbox" and as a backup or traveling machine. It features the same SHARC DSP chips and HX Modeling technology as Line6's flagship Helix processors, more than 300 HX and Legacy models of machines, cabinets and effects, eight of which can be used in blocks simultaneously, a total of 128 presets (32 banks of four presets each), a friendly user interface with 2-color.4" (6cm) LCD display and eight footswitches with colored LED rings, the ability to record custom impulse responses (IRs), three looper types (6 Switch, 1 Switch, Shuffling Looper), integrated tuner, MIDI compatibility, DAW connection via USB, serial/parallel signal routing, tap tempo function, and advanced Snapshot-type functions.

From the multi-effects armoury, you can choose from Helix effects and Legacy effects divided into the subcategories of Distortion, Dynamics, EQ, Modulation, Delay, Reverb, Pitch/Synth, Filter, Wah and Volume/Pan, plus a wide selection of well-known brands of instrument simulations (Fender, Vox, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, Soldano, Ampeg, Pearce, Gallien-Krueger) and dozens more cabinet and microphone pickup simulations. Flexibility in interfacing and signal routing is guaranteed by mono/stereo inputs and outputs from the multieffect, stereo effects loop (mono/stereo TRS send + stereo returns), expression pedal input, headphone output with output volume control, MIDI I/O and USB connector for interfacing with DAW.

The included adapter is used to power the multieffect. USB cable, cheat sheet and warranty card are included. The HX Stomp™ XL amp and effects processor delivers HX® modeling in a performance-ready pedal with eight capacitive-touch footswitches. The same SHARC® DSP chip found in Helix® enables it to run up to eight processing blocks simultaneously, and the footswitches let you access and control those blocks in powerful ways.
