The KX507 Multi Scale also features 25.5” – 27” multi-scale frets with the neutral fret now on the 8th position for better playability, a mesmerizing Poplar Burl top on Mahogany body, 5-piece Maple and Purple Heart neck, Macassar Ebony fretboard and an updated volume and tone knob position for easier reach. ​Cort's KX series is an electric guitar with a modern design. Specifically, the seven-string KX507MS with its variable (multiscale) gauge and Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers is an obvious choice for players of contemporary styles - from modern rock and djent to core and metal - thanks to its affordable price. At first glance, the guitar already catches the eye with its spectacular poplar root top veneer on a mahogany body with a pattern supported by the chosen colour finish. Bolted to the mahogany body is a neck composed of five pieces of maple and purpleheart wood. The Ebony Macassar fingerboard with twenty-four diagonally arranged frets (multiscale concept) and raindrop-shaped position markers (raindrops) is also striking.

Another piece to the modern puzzle are the Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, which give you a wide range of tonal colors in complete tonal clarity without annoying accompanying noise. Both the volume and tone knob potentiometers have a Push/Pull function - so you can switch between two different pickup voicings (Volume knob) and unzip the humbucker coils for pure single-coil character (Coil-Split on the tone knob).

The mounting of the strings in the solid cob (seven separate stones) and through the body of the instrument guarantees good sustain. Tuning stability and easy string changes are guaranteed by the company's locking mechanisms.
