The HT Metal 5 tube guitar amp combo by Blackstar has always had a tough look about it, but this limited edition Snake Skin version is really striking. The robust metal grille keeps the 12-inch Blackbird 50 speaker that has been specially voiced for heavier genres safe underneath. With its push/pull design, this 5-watt amp gives you the same sound characteristics as a 100-watt amp with the volume turned all the way up, but then at a lower volume.
HT Metal 5 Snake Skin
Whilst it's geared towards heavier styles of music, this amp is no one-trick pony. You'll get sparkling cleans from the clean channel while the overdrive channel will give you everything from some tasty crunch to face-melting lead sounds. A footswitch is included so that you can easily choose the channel you want. Thanks to the ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) circuit, you can go for classic British overdrive, modern American metal or anything in between. There's even built-in digital stereo reverb should you want to add that to the mix.
