The Zoom H5studio is a compact and powerful cell phone recorder for professional studio-quality audio recording. With its 32-bit float recording, low-noise microphone preamps from the Zoom F series and an extended dynamic range, it offers clipping-free recording without the need for extensive post-processing. The H5studio's 19.4 mm microphones deliver a particularly clear and detailed sound image with a maximum sound pressure level of 140 dB. This ensures a precise audio signal even in loud environments such as concerts, shoots or reports.

Flexible capsule architecture for every recording situation
Thanks to the modular capsule system of the third Generation, the recorder can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of recording situations. Compatibility with interchangeable microphone capsules such as SSH-6e or EXH-6e opens up additional creative possibilities. The high-quality microphone preamps with an equivalent input noise of just -127 dBu are based on the proven technology of the professional Zoom F series. They enable a particularly transparent sound with plenty of headroom and a dynamic range of up to 132 dB. The H5studio records up to six tracks simultaneously - four mono single tracks plus a stereo mix - and supports sampling rates of up to 192 kHz. This also makes it suitable for particularly high-quality productions.

Versatile use as a USB audio interface
The Zoom H5studio can also be used as a USB audio interface. With four inputs and two outputs, it is suitable for use with Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. Simultaneous live streaming and backup recording on microSD are easily possible.

Protection from interference thanks to RF shielding
Effective RF shielding reliably protects recordings from interference from smartphones or wireless networks - an important detail for professional use in uncontrolled environments.
