This Starphonic series snare drum features an all Spruce shell. A popular wood for acoustic guitars, Spruce has a warm and pleasant high-mid tone. Featuring 8-lugs and TAMA's unique Grooved Hoop, this snare drums delivers sharp attack with clear and controlled projection, beautifully complementing Spruce's mellow tone.
