Celebrating 40 years of the 4160 5×14″ snare drum Gretsch introduces the Hammered Chrome Over Brass snare drum. With its 1.2mm hand hammered brass shell this drum favors a higher tuning range and is full bodied with enhanced sensitivity. The Gretsch 14x5 USA Custom Hammered Chrome Over Brass Snare Drum (G4160HB) features a large-hammered 1.2mm chrome-plated brass shell to produce a very distinctive, albeit slightly drier sound than Gretch’s standard Chrome over Brass snare shell. Additional features include: 45-degree bearing edges, 8 Lugs, 4mm die-cast hoops, Lightning throw-off, 'Snap-In' key holder, 42-Strand snare wires, chrome hardware, and Gretsch Round Badge.
