A Flexible Routing and Mixing Solution
The TASCAM MZ-372 is a versatile 19-input zone mixer in a convenient 3U rackmount format. A comprehensive selection of I/O accommodates just about any source, including turntables. Select, mute, and contour your audio sources with an intuitive array of volume faders, toggle switches, and EQ knobs. This mixer features dual redundant stereo outputs with separate volume controls, along with balanced and unbalanced connectors. You also get separate stereo booth, recording, and headphone outputs with independent controls. An additional front-panel combo input includes a studio-quality mic preamp and ducking circuit for voice-overs and announcements. Ideal for permanent installations, the MZ-372 is a flexible routing and mixing solution.
Enough flexible I/O to accommodate 19 audio sources
If you've got a lot of audio sources, you're in luck. The MZ-372 can handle up to 19 audio sources and mix, mute, and route them to its dual redundant outputs. Its flexible array of I/O includes six channels with two sets of unbalanced RCA stereo pairs and a balanced XLR connector on each — that's a total of 12 RCA inputs and six XLR inputs. Channels 2–4 can be set to accommodate phono-level signals for use with turntables. You also get an additional front-panel combo input with a great-sounding microphone preamp and ducking circuit that's ideal for voice-overs and announcements.
Dual redundant outputs with separate volume controls
The TASCAM MZ-372 features dual redundant outputs with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors, so integrating it into your existing audio system will be child's play. Any combination of microphones, media players, or instruments can be selected or muted, and sent simultaneously to the MZ-372's dual outputs. And since each output has its own volume control, you have complete control over the sound levels in each zone. Finally, the front-panel combo input's ducking circuit automatically lowers any mixed channel source when you speak into a microphone, so your listeners won't miss a word.
