Winterleaf is an exciting new series from the Tanglewood design team. Created to meet the demands of the modern player, every Winterleaf guitar offers outstanding value with the highest standards of build quality and component features as standard. A closer look at the various model specifications will find so many outstanding brands like Fishman Electronics, Grover machine heads, Elixir strings and Tusq graphite saddles all partnering with the Winterleaf project concept to deliver excellence throughout every price point and model.
We believe this new Winterleaf model is destined to be future Tanglewood classic.
We have created the instrument to our Super Folk Cutaway style specification, a shape we invented over three decades ago now , and added a contemporary twist to achieve the warm tonal voice we felt the guitar needed. Each instrument features a Solid African Mahogany top, married to carefully selected African Mahogany back and sides to perform perfectly and uniquely for the creative player.
Each guitar has the statutory Winterleaf check list ingredients, Solid Top, Grover Machineheads, Premium Plus EQ etc etc, but the combination of features in this model, taken as a whole, is an absolute revelation, we love the sound they make and are sure you will too.
We’ve even created a stunning new finish, rear we’ve christened Autumn Vintage Burst, and this high gloss finish, set carefully and sparingly over the gorgeous mahogany timber genuinely takes this guitar to another dimension aesthetically. Choose this model if you want a guitar that hands down looks every bit as good as it sounds.
