The SurgeX SEQ-1216i 2U 20A power sequencer ensures that you power your system on and off correctly, avoiding damaging pops and hissing sounds while also eliminating excessive inrush currents that could trip circuits. In addition to two always-on power outlets, the SEQ power sequencer offers three sequenced banks of four outlets each. You can customize the amount of delay between sequence banks, control other SurgeX products, and save your custom settings in SEQ's non-volatile memory. And thanks to advanced surge elimination, EMI/RFI filtering, and extreme voltage protection, your A/V system will perform its best when powered by the SurgeX SEQ 2U 20A power sequencer.

Advanced power sequencing
When you're working with complex signal paths like those found in any modern A/V system, recording studio, or live sound system, you can potentially damage equipment and trip circuit breakers if you don't power things on and off in the correct order. The SurgeX SEQ power sequencer offers three banks of sequenced power, and you can customize the delay between banks from zero to 40 seconds. By properly sequencing your power-up and shutdown process, you'll eliminate the possibility of pops and hisses damaging your speakers, avoid excessive inrush currents that can overload your system, and enjoy the convenience of managing system power with a single switch.
