Combining modern active electronics and traditional tape technologies, the Samson VR88A ribbon microphone captures your music in every detail. The appearance of VR88A characterized by a very thin and delicate corrugated ribbon element of aluminum suspended in a neodymium element that creates a warm and natural response, silky smooth from head to toe. VR88A capable of strong SPL up to 137dB, making it the ideal microphone for vocals, acoustic instruments and even electric guitar.
It requires 48V of phantom power and provides enough output to capture even soft sources. The VR88A rugged die cast body is further protected by the included shockmount and protective carry case.
