Featuring a mahogany body attached to a Wizard III neck, the JEMJR offers many of the JEMs distinguishing characteristics; the H/S/H pickup configuration, the Tree of Life inlay, a double locking tremolo system, and, of course, the famous Monkey grip and Lion's Claw tremolo cavity. Case sold separately.

Designed to legendary guitar player Steve Vai's exacting standards, the JEM Junior features his signature aesthetic touches, such as the ergonomic 'monkey grip' body handle, and dazzling 'tree of life' fretboard inlay. Vai's original JEM was instrumental in popularising the locking tremolo system in the 1980's, and the JEMJR's double-locking trem bridge will have you dive-bombing to your heart's content, with rock-solid tuning to boot.

This white JEMJR boasts an upgraded Ibanez Quantum HSH pickup set. From liquid lead licks to powerchord punch, they match the supple Jatoba fretboard for a detailed, high end response with plenty of midrange weight. The JEM Jr's Wizard III maple neck was designed with virtuosi like Vai and Joe Satriani in mind, and completes a guitar that's made for speed. Unique Body
This stunning model from the Steve Vai range features a mahogany body accompanied by a maple neck and jatoba fingerboard, offering high-quality tonewoods with an eye-catching grain. A signature 'monkey grip' is incorporated into the guitar's design and adds to its unique appearance.

Angled Headstock & Wizard III Neck
The use of Ibanez's own Wizard III neck provides an extremely playable performance optimised for lead guitarists. The thin nature of the neck helps perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords. The angled headstock not only provides a stylish appearance, but also offers better string pressure. By increasing the pressure on the strings, it helps them stay in the nut slots and decreases loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, offering better sustain and smooth playability.

Quantum Pickups
Steve Vai’s Signature guitar features a set of Quantum pickups in a HSH configuration, providing a wide range of tonal possibilities to suit different musical styles. In the neck and bridge positions are Quantum humbuckers, with both offering full, clean tones while the bridge has a higher output and an excellent dynamic response. The middle pickup is a Quantum single coil, providing warm tones with a strong punch and a clean treble response.
