Fantastic Guitar Craftsmanship

The AFC125 features a large headstock design and a three-piece Mahogany and Maple set-in neck. The neck features a bound Ebony fretboard which has undergone meticulous hand-rolled fret edge treatment to provide maximum playing comfort and smooth articulation.

Straight out of the box, this special fret edge treatment will have you feeling like you’ve been playing this guitar for years.

Built with a Spruce top, Maple back and sides with a Flamed Maple bound holly body, all dressed in a chic satin black finish. The AFC125 is not only stylish in appearance but all these elements combine to provide a great, balanced tone and with the addition of a plywood top unnecessary feedback is significantly reduced.

A rock solid, compensated Ebony bridge provides great intonation, extended sustain and acoustic resonance.

Quality Electronics

The AFC125 comes with Ibanez custom made “Magic Touch-Mini” humbucker pickups which provide a nice balance of classic tones alongside clear articulation at both the top and bottom end of the sound spectrum.

You’ll enjoy clean response at the top end with fast melodies and complex chord progressions with clarity and precision. At the bottom end you’ll have deep, warm and rich bass sounds but with clarity that has been specially adjusted to help avoid muddy low end tones.

This tonal balance is complimented by the pickups’ extra sensitivity that accurately captures and accentuates your pick attack and plucking style opening up your performance to a wide range of playing techniques.

Thanks to their floating mount, the “Magic Touch-Mini” pickups do not dampen the natural body vibration of the guitar which allows for a bigger, richer acoustic tone.

Added Touches

The guitar looks fantastic with golden coloured pickups, a newly designed pickguard, tailpiece cover and wooden control knobs.

Furthermore, the AFC125 comes with its own hardshell case so you can take it on the road with confidence; whether you’re going by lane or tour bus.
