The Les Paul Standard 60s Faded calls back to the early transition of 1960 and the return of the single cut Les Pauls later in the 60s.  The mahogany body is capped with a AA flamed maple top and finished with a satin nitro lacquer in Vintage Cherry Burst. The satin finish gives the look and feel of a guitar that’s been around for years by pulling back on the gloss luster. There is no play wear or aging done to these finishes.

The neck profile is the thinner (than the 50s) 60s SlimTaper with a bound, 12” radius, rosewood fingerboard, adorned with acrylic trapezoid inlays. A Graph Tech nut ensures tuning stability. The ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece are nickel.  Tuners are the legendary Grove Rotomatics with nickel kidney buttons.

Electronics are the traditional Les Paul configuration consisting of 2 humbuckers, 2 volumes ,2 tones, and a 3-way selector. Both pickups are double-black, uncovered Alnico 5 60s burstbuckers. Hand-wiring is completed with Orange Drop capacitors.
