These amps come broken up into four categories, Clean, Blues, Metal, and Rock, and you can call them up with just the twist of a dial. British, American, retro, or futuristic - they're all onboard the V-AMP 3. But that's just the beginning. Each amp gives you a 3-band EQ plus presence, and onboard reverb lets you add dimension to your tone. There's also a collection of 16 classic stompbox effects onboard the V-AMP 3 plus other cool goodies like a tuner and a gate. Sound overwhelming? No worries, there are 125 killer presets to get you started, and you can create your own presets for easy recall later.

Although the V-AMP 3 is a table-top guitar effects module, it's surprisingly easy to work it into your live effects rig. It even comes with three Live Modes to make configuring it for onstage use a breeze. In Live Mode 1, you send both outputs right to the front-of-house mixer for stereo sound. Live Mode 2 kills the speaker simulation, making it ideal for when you want to run your output to a pair of amps for onstage stereo. And Live Mode 3 gives you dual mono output, so you can send one out with speaker emulation to the house, and the other one without speaker emulation to your amp. What's more, thought the V-AMP 3 only has one footswitch input, you can connect a MIDI footswitch controller to it for extensive real-time control.
