Shells enhanced with SSC shell optimization
Each of DW's grain orientation types — VLT, HVLT, VLX, and X — has a profound effect on a shell's fundamental pitch. Fortunately, DW's Specialized Shell Configuration (SSC) simplifies things for the customer. SSC just means that DW selects the best type of shell construction for each drum in the DW Collector's shell pack. Sweetwater drummers were impressed by the impact this had on overall balance. Toms sound harmonious across the kit, with plenty of bite and pure tone.
