The Stage Custom Hip also includes a snare strainer on the floor tom for adding an optional second, deeper snare. And, the small form factor bass drum can be utilized as a sub-kick extension to add heft to standard-sized kick — an awesome trick for stage and studio. YESS tom mounting system
Yamaha’s YESS mounting allows the high tom of your Stage Custom Hip kit to vibrate freely however you position it. The YESS mount and included tom holder make minimal contact with the drum, keeping contact to the nodal point of the shell so as not to inhibit sustain. A nylon clamp bushing provides maximum stability. Even better — the YESS system won’t interfere with head changes between sets and takes.
