Monitoring the status of power, level, limit and protection circuits can be done at-a-glance thanks to the 4-segment LED arrangement. The intuitive and simplistic design of the front panel ensures that you're able to focus on other critical elements of the live performance, whether that be mixing sound or performing on stage.

Built for performance environments

Never worry about overloading your speakers. The CPD4800 offers an extensive range of built-in protection circuitry. From thermal and overcurrent to DC and output short protection. Additionally, a switchable limiter allows over 8Vrms signal through without distortion.

Rack-mountable, the CPD4800 has a 2U steel chassis that can be installed within any standard 19'' rack unit. Performance venues are known to be incredibly hot, which can result in equipment overheating and potentially being damaged. To counteract this, Wharfedale incorporated a variable speed fan that keeps the amplifier cool and ensures you're able to perform all night long.
