The Pearl P3502D Demon XR direct-drive double bass drum pedal is your direct path to rapid-fire bass drum performance. The product of a two-year research and development collaboration with drummer Gorge Kollias, the Demon XR (for Extreme Rebound), essentially rewrites the playbook on high-speed bass drumming. Featuring a stripped-down, machine shop design for lightweight feel and a faster stroke, its secret lies in the enhanced rebound action of the XR high-tension spring. This accentuates rebound, making repeated strokes in the most extreme musical situations effortless. Feel can be tailored with a quick change to the included standard spring for more traditional feel. Its XI beater contacts the head with a high-impact "ricochet" that further enhances accuracy and high-tempo technicality. Finally, the Z-Link drive shaft delivers the same precise action in the secondary pedal as the primary, with hand-assembled CNC-machined construction.

Each pedal performs with the same enhanced rebound action with its own interchangeable high-tension spring for repeated strokes effortlessly in extreme musical situations.
