The LD Systems Road Buddy 10 is the ideal solution for sound and voice applications on the go. The 2-way speaker with a 10" custom woofer and 1" compression driver is operable with its rechargeable battery up to 8 hours and is driven by a Class D amplifier with high efficient switching power supply, and 480 watts of peak power. The Road Buddy is fully wireless transmission: it has a UHF radio receiver which uses the registration-free 863-865 MHz band and can be expanded with an additional system . The on board Bluetooth Player with backlit multifunction display, equalizer, USB port and SD card slot supports .mp3 formats, .WMA and .WAV. A handheld microphone with 10 mW output power (LDRBUD10) or alternatively a headset with beltpack (LDRBUD10HS) and the IR remote control of the player are included.
For wired devices the Road Buddy has two channels with combo connectors and individual volume controls that are switchable microphone and line-level stereo inputs on RCA (phono) jacks and a 3.5mm aux input. Controls for treble, bass, echo and a master volume complete the deal. The LD Systems Road Buddy is through integrated wheels and extendable handle easily transportable. On top there is a handy storage compartment for up to two handheld transmitter microphones. A 35 mm stand adapter is mounted In the plastic housing.

LD Systems Road series are active, battery-operated loudspeakers and THE perfect mobile sound center. The Roadboy, Roadbuddy, Roadman and Roadjack models are easily portable and compact and have a variety of features - such as audio or Bluetooth player with USB interface, UHF wireless receiver, SD card slot and remote control, maintenance-free batteries and many connection and control options. For system expansion, active and passive loudspeaker slaves complete the series. The LD Systems Roadbuddy is easily transportable thanks to built-in castor wheels and a pull-out handle. On the top, there is a handy storage compartment for up to two hand-held transmitter microphones. The plastic housing of this lightweight device has been designed to accommodate a 35 mm tripod mount.
