Capturing on-camera audio for interviews, podcasts, dialogue, and vlogs is a breeze using the Xvive Audio U5T2 Wireless Lavalier system. Get ready for 60-second setups and up to five hours of wireless operation per battery swap. This true-diversity wireless system operates on common FCC-safe 2.4GHz to deliver up to 90 feet of wireless freedom in any line-of-sight setting. So whether you’re shooting in the studio or filming on location, you can expect worry-free audio capture using the Xvive U5 system. Speech and audio are transmitted from the beltpack lavaliers to the camera-mount receiver in sharp, video-ready 24-bit/48kHz quality, with over 100dB of dynamic range to pick up loud and quiet sounds without compromise. Want to monitor audio as you shoot? The U5 system's sub-6ms latency and crisp OLED display allow you to quickly adjust levels and swap channels in real time from the convenience of camera.
Shooting B-roll or concerts? Each U5 transmitter can also send line-level mono audio from a phone, tablet, or soundboard. And for dual-channel dialog capture, each speaker can be routed to their own L/R channel for full separation and further editing in post. Sweetwater sound engineers and camera operators have been relying on Xvive wireless systems for years. If you’re looking for faithful audio pickup and true wireless freedom for your next project, options don’t come any simpler than the Xvive Audio U5T2 Wireless Lavalier system.
What’s Included?
Two U5T wireless transmitters
Whether it’s a 2-speaker interview or audio from a mixer you intend to capture, Xvive’s U5T wireless transmitters are up to the task. Each beltpack puts level, channel, and mute controls in the speaker’s hands for added convenience. Screw in the included lavalier mics or connect a line-level 3.5mm TRS cable.
Two LV1 clip-on lavalier microphones
When it comes to dialog, a wireless system is only as good as the mics behind it. This U5 system’s included clip-on lavalier microphones provide crisp, clean pickup of speech and audio while disappearing discreetly into the speaker’s attire. Windscreens are included for outdoor use.
Camera-mount U5R receiver
Mount the Xvive U5R receiver to your camera or DSLR, and you’ve got a rack’s worth of audio tools at your fingertips. A crisp OLED display shows battery life, channel assignments, and audio levels for each connected transmitter. A stereo/mono switch allows you to pan interviewers to their own L/R channel for clean separation in post. You also get hands-on gain knobs and sub-6ms latency for powerful real-time monitoring and leveling control, right from your camera.
Three swappable li-ion batteries and accessories
One area where the U5 especially improves upon classic Xvive systems is its swappable rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. Each battery is rated to provide up to five hours of run time per charge. Should you need more time on set, pop a few optional U5 batteries (not included) onto the included charging cables while shooting, and you’ve got the range to run all night. Working in close quarters? You can also leave the U5 transmitters and receiver plugged into USB power using the included charging cables for true charge-and-shoot operation.
