Each channel features Expander/Gate and Compressor/Limiter. You can use the channels individually or as a pair of stereo dynamics processors. The Expander/Gate sections offers Threshold control as well as a switch to select either fast or slow release times. On the Compressor/Limiter section you'll find variable Threshold, Ratio and Output levels. In attack and release mode the S-com 4 really earns high praise with its ability to analyze the audio input and automatically adjust the attack and release parameters.
