A soft gumwood core provides the classic warmth and round tone you'll recognize from some of your favorite records. And cherry wood top plies give it cutting volume and luxurious looks. But the DW Collector's Jazz snare is more than just a pretty shell. True-Pitch rods, True Hoops, and True-Tone wires give this snare an untouchable tone right away. And if you're like us, the magnetic MAG throw off and three-position butt plate will inspire you to branch out with new snare tensions.
